About Us
My Glamour Pet is a unique photography experience geared specifically toward your pet!! Here at My Glamour Pet, we are passionate about capturing your pet's most glamorous moments, whether it's portraits, candids, or a loving shot of pet and owner. What We Do
We take pictures of your pet!! If you are interested in setting up a photo shoot for your pet, take the first step and send us a message on our Contact page. Here are a few things to think about before setting up your photo shoot with My Glamour Pet:
Date: We will do our best to accommodate your schedule, but please have in mind a number of dates for your photo shoot in case we are pre-booked or unavailable.
Location: Think of a location for your pet's photo shoot. This could be your own home, your backyard, or your pet's favorite park or place to play. Where will your pet be most comfortable?
Time of Day: Good lighting is a must to produce quality photos. However, mid-day sun can be harsh and produce unattractive shadows. When working outdoors, many photographers like to shoot in the very early morning or just before sundown (the so-called "golden hours"). If we cannot schedule your shoot during these times, we recommend using shaded areas or shooting on overcast days, which give us just enough light without the harsh shadows!
Grooming/Costumes: We unfortunately do not provide grooming services or costumes for your pet so plan to have your pet groomed for his or her shoot if you wish (Note: this is not a requirement for a photo shoot with us). If you would like to have your pet photographed in his or her favorite sweater or collar, please have those ready on the day of the shoot. If your pet has never worn a particular article of clothing/costume, we do not recommend it for the photo shoot, as it may make him or her uncomfortable.
Pet's Attitude: As much as we would love to be able to photograph every pet out there, we understand this is not a possibility. Therefore, a pleasant demeanor is a must for a photo shoot with My Glamour Pet, as Matt (your photographer) often gets up close and personal with your pet. If your pet is not friendly with strangers, we regret we will not be able to accommodate your needs.
You!: If you would like to be in shots with your pet, please be "camera ready" on the day of your shoot!

Where We Shoot
My Glamour Pet is based in San Francisco but may also travel to Bay Area locations that are within a reasonable distance.
Advocacy
We advocate adopting pets in need from shelters across the country. According to The Humane Society of the United States, three to four million animals are killed in shelters each year. Utilize sites like Petfinder to find an adoptable pet today. And be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered. Also check us out on Twitter to see some adorable local pets who need great companions and forever homes.
If you're having a pet charity event and need a photographer, don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help out shelters and charitable organizations at these types of events!
Your Photographer
Matt Bachmann is an experienced photographer who has shot from San Francisco to Paris to Tokyo. During his photography career, he has shot weddings, bands, sports events, and, of course, pets! His love for pet photography started when he began taking pictures of his friends' and family's quirky cats and dogs (and sometimes birds and lizards!).
